South Korean singer AOORA won the hearts of Indian fans after his appearance on Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 17. And the singer is once again in the headlines after releasing his new single dedicated to Lord Shiva ahead of the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri. While sharing the fresh track on his Instagram, he wrote that this was his third anniversary after arriving in India and how he still remembered travelling from Delhi to Mumbai to many other places. He penned, “I’m grateful to God for all of it, and I want to learn even more. I want to dedicate this song to everyone who has been a part of my journey. This is not a song but a prayer which I hope will reach everyone’s heart.”

For the unversed, Park Min Jun, aka AOORA, is a famous South Korean singer and composer. He came to India nearly three years back and has been gaining popularity around the country with his unique musical fusions. From strong performances to Indo-Korean remixes, he has built a strong connection with the Indian audience. His list of Indo-Korean remixes includes ‘Thi Thi Thara,’ an original song from Kerala that was loved by fans not just because of the catchy beats, but also for the effort.

AOORA learned Malayalam to perfect his rendition. After this, ‘Holi Re Rasiya’ also had energetic beats with Hindi and English lyrics and became an anthem in 2024. In 2023, the singer also released the K-pop rendition of Mithun Chakraborty’s famous ‘Jimmy Jimmy’, which was again enjoyed by the fans, and later released his take on ‘yeh Shaam Mastani’, blending two musical cultures into one.
