Aamir Khan, one of Bollywood’s finest actors, is renowned for his compelling performances and thought-provoking films. However, although his professional life has been marked by success, his personal life has long been marred by scandals. One of the most debated pages in his book is his supposed relationship with British journalist Jessica Hines, which hit the headlines once again following new allegations by Aamir’s brother.

Jessica Hines and Aamir Khan’s Alleged Affair

In 2005, Aamir Khan was caught in the centre of a huge controversy when there was a report in Stardust magazine that he was living with Jessica Hines. The report said that the two had met for the first time while the film Ghulam was being shot in the late 1990s and that they became close. As per the report, the affair subsequently resulted in Jessica getting pregnant, but the narrative took a sudden turn when Aamir allegedly denied responsibility.

The publication alleged that Aamir pressured Jessica to end the pregnancy, but she decided otherwise. She allegedly carried the baby and gave birth to a boy in the early 2000s, naming him Jaan. The tale has remained unconfirmed over the years, and both of them have kept quiet regarding the issue in public.

Jessica Hines’ Life After the Controversy

In 2007, Jessica wed London businessman William Talbot. Speaking in an interview years on, she recounted how William cared for her son while she worked in India on a book about Amitabh Bachchan. She said her husband was protective and supportive, especially towards Jaan, who was mostly kept out of the spotlight.

But recently, pictures of Jessica’s son started doing the rounds on the internet, fueling debates among fans who found him similar to Aamir Khan. Some even went on to say that Jaan resembled the actor quite closely, though nothing was ever confirmed officially.

Why Did The Rumours Start Again?

The rumours got another lease of life after Aamir’s brother, Faissal Khan, made a shocker statement at a press conference. He claimed that Aamir was having an affair with Jessica Hines during the time when he was married to Reena Dutta. Faissal further claimed that the affair led to a child out of wedlock. He further added that Aamir was already cohabiting with director Kiran Rao at the time, whom he eventually married and later divorced in 2022.

Though the allegations are yet to be confirmed, they have again shed light on the long-standing controversy that refuses to die. Neither Jessica Hines nor Aamir Khan has ever officially confirmed the reports, so the story remains the realm of speculation.
