For the unversed, Rahul Sharma is the CEO and co-Founder of Micromax Informatics. He started this venture with just a Rs 3 lakh loan from his father in the year 2000. The business initially started as IT-software related, but later pivoted to cell phones in the year 2008. He further expanded it into entertainment-related products as well. And by 2010, Micromax had become a household name, known for providing affordable mobile phones in India while the mobile market was growing quickly.

Sharma graduated from Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University as a mechanical engineer and later pursued a degree in commerce from the University of Saskatchewan. As per GQ India and Forbes, his networth is estimated to be around Rs 13000 crores, pushing him to almost becoming a billionaire. Apart from Micromax, he has invested in Revolt Intellicorp, which is India’s first AI-powered electric motorcycle startup.
The pair married in an intimate ceremony in January 2016 in front of their friends and family. In October 2017, the couple had their daughter, Arin, who was described as an ‘angelic baby girl.’ After marriage, she distanced herself from acting. She was seen in the movie All Is Well in the year 2015. She has established a successful acting career in South Indian films as well as Bollywood films with titles such as Ghajini, Ready, Bol Bachchan, and Housefull 2.
