Who Is Amaal Malik?
Amaal Malik is the grandson of Sardar Malik and the elder son of Daboo Malik and Jyothi Malik. His younger brother is singer Armaan Malik, who recently got married to social media influencer Aashna Shroff. Born in 1990, Amaal graduated from N M College, Mumbai and got a degree in Bachelor of Commerce. He also did a course in music from the Trinity College Of Music and also took lessons in Classical Music from his grandmother, Sardar Malik.
From a very young age, he started assisting music directors in various films. Amaal Malik began his music composing journey from the year 2008. He produced and composed music for films like Rowdy Rathod, R….Rajkumar, Heroine, and Phata Poster Nikla Hero among others.
Not just composing, but Amaal Malik also sang some songs like ‘Aashique Surrender Hua’ from Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya and a song in Noor. Amaal Malik has also composed singles and has collaborated with his brother, Armaan Malik. His hard work paid off when he got the IIFA Award for Best Director 2019 for his music compositions in Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety.
Amaal Malik is also the nephew of famous music-composer Anu Malik, however, during the #MeToo allegations on the latter, Amaal had refused to consider him his family.
