She added that the decision to marry was questioned by everyone, including her parents, and she didn’t want to listen to them. The actress recalled that love was the only thing that mattered to her, adding that she wasn’t worried about how it could affect her acting career. She reportedly stated that at the time she wanted to be a housewife anyway, so if she was not getting any work, she was okay with that. The actress stated that even if God had told her not to do it, she would not have listened. While talking about their divorce, Jennifer stated that she would be lying if she wasn’t hurt. At the time, the actress thought that she was lost and confused because she did not understand what had happened, adding that she kind of went numb. She reportedly withdrew from the chatter and spent almost two years healing and processing the separation. Talking about the marriage she said, “Both of us weren’t ready.”
