The film’s plot follows the story of a young boy working at a music shop who falls in love with his co-worker. The boy named Bear purchases a wish stick and wishes that the girl loves him wholeheartedly. Everything turns upside down when the wish comes true, but not in a very pleasant manner.
The film has some scary jump scares, but what everyone hailed was Inde Navarrette’s performance as Nikki. The actor delivers an exceptional performance in the film. Now, if you are wondering where to watch this on OTT, we have got your back. As per the news reports, Obsession is also set to release on Apple TV on June 30. The film hit theatres on May 15, and after a successful theatrical run, the Curry Barker film is set to premiere on OTT. Interestingly, the OTT release will have an unrated version of the film, which means that the part cut out from the theatrical version will be available. This also means that the gore and violence will be more than what you experienced on the big screen.
For the unversed, the film’s worldwide earnings were $334 million, and it was only made with a budget of approximately $1 million (1 Crore).
