Sweet Kaaram Coffee (Prime Video)

Starring Lakshmi Madhoo and Santhy, this 8-episode series is a Prime Video Tamil Original series that has been dubbed in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. Releasing on July 6, it follows the story of 3 women from different generations and their lives as they go on a journey to discover themselves.

Tarla (Zee5)

Based on the life of India’s beloved home chef and icon, Tarla Dalal, this film directed by Piyush Gupta is set to release on Zee5 on July 7. The film stars Huma Qureshi as Tarla Dalal and Sharib Hashmi lends support as her husband, Nalin Dalal.

Insidious: The Red Door (Theatres)

Patrick Wilson’s directorial debut film is the fifth instalment of the Insidious film franchise. Starring Patrick Wilson in the lead role, it also stars Ty Simpkins, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, Andrew Astor and Hiam Abbass. This film which is the direct sequel of Insidious and Insidious: Chapter 2 releases in theatres on July 7.

Neeyat (Theatres)

Directed by Anu Menon, this Vidya Balan starrer is scheduled to release on the big screen on July 7. It also stars Ram Kapoor, Shahana Goswami, Rahul Bose, Shashank Arora, Neeraj Kabi, Diapnnita Sharma and Amrita Puri.

The Lincoln Lawyer: Season 2 Part 1 (Netflix)

This legal drama series based on a novel by Michael Connelly starring Manuel Garcia-Rulfo is set to return with a season 2 and the first part is scheduled to release on the OTT giant, Netflix on July 6 followed by the part 2 on August 3. Defense Attorney Mickey Haller is coming back in his Lincoln Navigator and we’re ready for this ride.

Adhura (Prime Video)

This Ananya Banerjee and Gauravv K Chawla directorial is a supernatural thriller series starring Rasika Dugal, Rahul Dev, Ishwak Singh, Poojan Chhabra, Rijul Ray, Zoa Morani, Sahil Salathia and Aru Krishansh Verma. This high school supernatural thriller will release on Prime Video on July 7.

The Out-Laws (Netflix)

This action comedy film starring Nina Dobrev, Adam DeVine, Pierce Brosnan, Ellen Barkin and Poorna Jagannathan is set to stream on Netflix from July 7 onwards.

Joyland (BookMyShow Stream)

This Pakistani film had its world premiere at Cannes Film Festival 2022 and made headlines for its LGBTQ+ theme is set to air on BookMyShow Stream on July 5.

Ishq Next Door (JioCinema)

Starring Natasha Bharadwaj, Purav Jha, Mrinal Dutt and Abhay Mahajan among others, this series was released on JioCinema on July 3 with one episode dropping every day till July 12.

Blind (JioCinema)

Sonam Kapoor is set to make her comeback and OTT debut with this remake of a Korean film of the same name. Featuring Purab Kohli as the antagonist, Blind will release on JioCinema on July 7.

Past Lives (Theatres)

Directed by Celine Song, this romantic drama film stars Greta Lee, Teo Yoo and John Magaro. This critically acclaimed film is set to release in India on July 7 after a world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January this year.

72 Hoorain (Theatres)

Starring Pavan Malhotra and Aamir Bashir, this Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan directorial came in the limelight due to the controversies around the film. The film explores the dark reality of religious fanaticism and terrorism. It releases in theatres in 11 languages on July 7.

Shubh Yatra (ShemarooMe)

This 2023 Gujarat film starring Monal Gajjar, Malhar Thakar, and Darshan Jariwala has its world digital premiere on the OTT platform ShemarooMe on July 6. This film is a remake of the 2016 Tamil film titled Aandavan Kattalai.

Babylon (Prime Video)

Barbie actor Margot Robbie’s 2022 epic period black-comedy film premieres on the OTT platform Prime Video on July 5. The film, directed by Damien Chazelle, also stars Brad Pitt, Diego Calva, Jovan Adepo, Jean Smart and Li Jun Li.
