How’s the New Year treating you? Well, it’s just been a week into 2024 and we are already quite tired, aren’t we? But there’s one thing to be happy about and that is the list of releases lined up in the second week of January. Some of them are certainly much-anticipated film and series releases. From Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupati starrer Merry Christmas to Manoj Bajpayee’s Killer Soup, and more. Here’s the entire What to Watch list so you don’t miss the good shows!

Killer Soup (Netflix)

Manoj Bajpayee and Konkona Sensharma will lead the show which is a mystery thriller. Manoj Bajpayee will be seen playing a double role in the series directed by Abhishek Chaubey. The mysterious plot of the series revolves around how Swathy Shetty (Konkona) makes a devious plan to kill her husband and replace him with her love, as they both look alike! Killer Soup is all set to premiere on January 11.

Video Cam Scam (Epicon)

Rajniesh Duggal and Amruta Khanvilkar’s show Video Cam Scam is around a sextortion racket that makes an honest police officer its prey. The show will be released on January 12, Friday. It also stars Farnaz Shetty, Aradhana Sharma and Kunj Anand.

Guntur Kaaram (Theatres)

South Indian star Mahesh Babu is here with another release titled Guntur Kaaram.  The movie is directed by Trivikram Srinivas and is a Telugu-language film. The film also stars Sreeleela, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Jagapathi Babu, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Ramya Krishna and Brahmanandam. It will hit the theatres on January 12.

Ted Season 1 (Peacock)

The comedy mini-series Ted starring Alanna Ubach, Scott Grime, and Seth Macfarlane is going to drop on January 11. The story is about a cute teddy bear named Ted and the family he lives with. Quite a cute series to binge-watch during the weekends.

Mean Girls (Theatres)

Samantha Jayne and Arturo Perez Jr. are making their directorial debut with their musical comedy-drama Mean Girls. It stars Renee Rapp, Angourie Rice and Christopher Briney among others. The series will release on January 12.

Echo Season 1 (Disney Plus Hotstar)

Marion Dayre’s miniseries is based on the Marvel character of the same name. It is also a spinoff of the 2021 series Hawkeye. It consists of a total of five episodes and the first one is all set to drop on January 9.

Merry Christmas (Theatres)

Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi’s film Merry Christmas directed by Sriram Raghavan. The trailer did not give away anything from this mysterious plot and it’s a major reason why it has our attention. The film will hit the theatres on January 12.

Role Play (Prime Video)

The action thriller film stars Kaley Cuoco, David Oyelowo and Connie Nielson. The story revolves around a couple who gradually discovers secrets from each other’s past and how that changes their lives completely. The film is set to release on January 12.

Lift (Netflix)

Kevin Hart’s Life is an action-comedy and the plot is about a heist carried out on a passenger flight. The film is 1 hour 44 minutes long and it releases on January 12.
