What To Watch This Week Of October 9 To 15: Dhak Dhak, Sultan Of Delhi, Darran Choo, And More

1. The Fall Of The House Of Usher (Netflix)

Created by Mike Flanagan, this miniseries is a gothic horror drama and is loosely based on the short story of the same name by Edgar Allan Poe. Set to premiere on Netflix on October 12, it follows the story of the CEO of a pharmaceutical company as his past comes to haunt him when his kids start dying in mysterious ways.

2. Jurassic World Dominion (Netflix)

Starring Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard and more, this sequel to Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and the final instalment of the Jurassic World Trilogy was released in the theatres in 2022 and is now finally releasing on the OTT platform Netflix on October 10.

3. Pact Of Silence (Netflix)

Scheduled to premiere on Netflix on October 11, this show follows a social media influencer who was abandoned at birth. Her thirst for revenge makes her infiltrate the lives of four women to uncover who is her mother. Will she be able to find her mother with a threat looming?

4. Sultan Of Delhi (Disney+ Hotstar)

Directed by Milan Luthria and produced by Reliance Entertainment, Sultan Of Delhi starring Tahir Raj Bhasin, Mouni Roy, Anujm Sharma, Vinay Pathak, Anupriya Goenka, Nishant Dahiya, Mehreen Pirzada and Harleen Sethi will begin streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from October 13 onwards.

5. Dhak Dhak (Theatres)

Headlined by Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanjana Sanghi, Dhak Dhak is a drama film directed by Tarun Dudeja and is set to release on October 13. The trailer of the film was released earlier on October 9.

6. Darran Choo (Theatres)

Ye Hai Mohabbatein star Karan Patel is all set to make his big screen debut in a leading role with his upcoming film Darran Choo has been directed by Bharat Ratan and produced by Minoo Patel and Ankita Bhargav Patel. It hits the theatres on October 13.

7. PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie (Theatres)

Based on the television series PAW Patrol, this film is a sequel to the 2021 computer-animated superhero comedy film PAW Patrol: The Movie. Scheduled to release in the theatres on October 13, the voice cast of this film includes Kim Kardashian, Chris Rock, Serena Williams and more.

8. Dumb Money (Theatres)

Starring Paul Dano, Pete Davidson, Vincent D’Onofrio and America Ferrera among several others, this biographical comedy-drama film is based on Ben Mezrich’s book The Antisocial Network which is based on the GameStop short squeeze of January 2021. It is scheduled to release in theatres across India on October 13.

9. Past Lives (Lionsgate Play)

After releasing the theatres across India in July 2023, this critically acclaimed film starring Greta Lee, Teo Yoo and John Magaro will release on the OTT platform Lionsgate Play on October 13. The films follows the friendship of two childhood friends who grow apart.

10. Lessons In Chemistry (Apple TV+)

Based on a novel of the same name by Bonnie Garmus, this drama miniseries revolves around a female scientist who becomes a TV host for a cooking show to educate women about science after being fired from her job. The show premieres on Apple TV+ on October 13.

11. Loki Season 2 New Episode (Disney+ Hotstar)

The latest episode of Tom Hiddlestone starrer Loki Season 2 will drop on Thursday, October 12. FYI, the show premiered on October 5 on Disney+ Hotstar and the final episode of this 6 episodic series will release on November 9.
