The Monkey (Theatres)
First up, a scary flick. The Monkey tells the tale of twin brothers whose lives are turned upside down by a cursed toy. This toy causes terrible deaths around them. The movie is based on a story by Stephen King and features Theo James and Tatiana Maslany, among others. It’s hitting theatres on March 7th.
Mickey 17 (Theatres)
Mickey 17 stars Robert Pattinson as an “expendable.” Directed by Bong Joon-Ho, this movie, based on a book, also comes out in theatres on March 7th.
Nadaaniyan (Netflix)
Moving to a lighter, romantic story, Nadaaniyan. It’s about Pia, a girl from South Delhi who wants her love life to look perfect. She asks Arjun to pretend to be her boyfriend. What starts as a fake relationship turns into something real, leading to confusion and questions about love. Ibrahim Ali Khan makes his debut with this film, and it will be available on March 7th.
The Waking of a Nation (SonyLIV)
For those who enjoy historical dramas, this series tells the story of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in 1919. It follows a lawyer who uncovers a conspiracy behind the tragic event. This series explores the causes and tensions leading up to the massacre and will also be released on March 7th.
Vidaamuyarchi (Netflix)
Now, it’s time for some action! Vidaamuyarchi is set in Azerbaijan. It’s about a man trying to rescue his wife from a mysterious group. The film stars Ajith Kumar, Arjun Sarja, Trisha Krishnan, Regina Cassandra, Arav, and Ramya Subramanian and comes out on March 3rd.
Dupahiya (Amazon Prime Video)
Switching gears to a comedy, Dupahiya is about a village celebrating 25 years without crime. However, things take a turn when a prized motorcycle goes missing and the village has to find it before their celebration is ruined. Gajraj Rao and Renuka Shahane star in this series, releasing on March 7th.
When Life Gives You Tangerines (Netflix)
If you’re in the mood for a Korean drama, there’s something special for you! When Life Gives You Tangerines tells the story of two people born in Jeju in the 1950s. It features Park Bogum and IU in a story full of adventure. Interested to see this pairing? Well, it will premiere on March 7th.
Daredevil: Born Again (JioHotstar)
Daredevil: Born Again on JioHotstar brings back Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, also known as Daredevil. He faces off against Wilson Fisk, played by Vincent D’Onofrio. The series premieres on March 5th.
Picture This (Prime Video)
Next up we have a romantic comedy that is about a woman who is told she will find love with one of her next five dates. It stars Simone Ashley and Hero Fiennes Tiffin and will be released on March 6th.
With Love, Meghan (Netflix)
Is a lifestyle series hosted by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex. She shares tips on cooking, gardening, and hosting. It premieres on March 4th.
Deli Boys (Hulu)
Two spoiled Pakistani American brothers, Ali and Shaikh, have their lives turned upside down when their rich father, who owns many convenience stores, suddenly passes away. They lose all their money and find out their dad had a secret life involving crime. Now, they have to deal with this shocking discovery and decide if they want to follow in his criminal footsteps. Deli Boys will be available on Hulu starting March 6th.
