Whether you’re a fan of action, romance, mystery, or fantasy, or you simply just don’t know what to do with your evenings or free time, here are some movies and series releasing between January 19 and January 25 that you can enjoy. Border 2 (Theatre)

Starring Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty and others, this film is about the 1971 Indo-Pak War and shows the teamwork and bravery of the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force. Directed by Anurag Singh, it releases in theatres on January 23 and promises intense scenes, heartwarming and strong bonds between soldiers, and the real sacrifices.

Marty Supreme (Theatre)

It is an American sports comedy-drama set in the 1950s. Directed by Josh Safdie, it stars Timothée Chalamet as a character loosely inspired by table tennis player Marty Reisman. The film also stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Odessa A’zion, Kevin O’Leary, Tyler Okonma, Abel Ferrara, and others and has won major awards globally and is not set to release in Indian theatres on January 23.

A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms (Amazon Prime Video)

It is a prequel to Game of Thrones and adapts George R. R. Martin’s Tales of Dunk and Egg, starting with The Hedge Knight. Starring Peter Claffey, Finn Bennett, and others, the first season has six episodes and will air on January 18.

Steal (Amazon Prime Video)

Love shows that keep you in suspense? Well, Steal promises to do that. It stars Sophie Turner, Archie Madekwe, and Jacob Fortune-Lloyd and follows an ordinary office worker who suddenly gets involved in a major theft. Looks exciting? Well, it will come out on January 21.

Cosmic Princess Kaguya! (Netflix)

All the Japanese animation lovers assemble! January 22, 2026. Directed by Shingo Yamashita, it reimagines the old folktale of The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter and will air on January 22.

Finding Her Edge (Netflix)

It is a romantic drama series adapted from Jennifer Iacopelli’s novel. Starring Madelyn Keys, Nicole Volossetski, and others, it will premiere on the ott platform on January 22.

Space Gen: Chandrayaan (JioHotstar)

It stars Nakuul Mehta, Shriya Saran, Danish Sait, Prakash Belawadi, and others and revolves around Indian space scientists after the Chandrayaan-2 mission’s result. Curious? Well, it will come out January 23. So, bookmark it!

Cheekatilo (Amazon Prime Video)

Directed by Sharan Koppisetty, it stars Sobhita Dhulipala in a strong role as a woman uncovering the truth about a dangerous repeat offender. This gripping crime thriller will be released on January 23.
