Rahu Ketu (Theatres)

Written and directed by Vipul Vig, it stars Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Shalini Pandey, and Chunky Panday. Inspired by folklore, it will be released in theatres on January 16, 2026.

Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos (Theatres)

Looking forward to a spy comedy with Indian flavour? Well, this one stars Vir Das, Mona Singh, Mithila Palkar, Sharib Hashmi, and a cameo by Imran Khan. The story centres on Happy Patel, a clumsy MI7 agent sent to Goa. There, he learns about his Indian roots while trying to save a scientist from a crime boss and it creates hilarious and chaotic scenes. It will be released on January 16.

28 Years Later: The Bone Temple (Theatres)

For those who enjoy intense horror movies, here’s something for you. Directed by Nia DaCosta and written by Alex Garland, this film continues the story from its predecessor. It features Ralph Fiennes, Jack O’Connell, Alfie Williams, Erin Kellyman, and Chi Lewis-Parry and will be released in theatres on January 16, 2026.

Pole to Pole With Will Smith (JioHotstar)

This docuseries starring Will Smith follows the Hollywood star on a hundred-day journey from the North Pole to the South Pole. It has seven episodes and will air on January 13, 2026, giving viewers a chance to see the world through his eyes and feel motivated by his bold trip.

Taskaree: The Smuggler’s Web (Netflix)

Created by Neeraj Pandey, this series stars Emraan Hashmi, Sharad Kelkar, Amruta Khanvilkar, Zoya Afroz, Nandish Sandhu, and Anurag Sinha and promises twists and high stakes. It will be released on January 14, 2026.

Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials (Netflix)

K-drama lovers, assemble! Written by the Hong sisters and directed by Yoo Young-eun, it stars Kim Seon-ho and Go Youn-jung. The show explores a relationship between a skilled interpreter and a famous actress, filled with language barriers and heartfelt connections. It releases on January 16, 2026.
