Dacoit (Theatres)

This is a Hindi-Telugu action-thriller starring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur and will hit theatres on April 10, 2026. Directed by Shaneil Deo, the film follows an angry convict who wants revenge against his former girlfriend. She betrayed him in the past, and now he escapes prison to settle the score.

LIK: Love Insurance Kompany (Theatres)

Next up is a fun ride into the future. Also called LIK, this Tamil-language science fiction romantic comedy comes from writer and director Vignesh Shivan. Jointly made by Rowdy Pictures and Seven Screen Studio, the film takes place in the year 2040. It stars Pradeep Ranganathan, S. J. Suryah, and Krithi Shetty in the main roles and will be released on April 10, 2026.

Finding Harry: The Craft Behind the Magic (JioHotstar)

Fans of the wizarding world get a special treat this week. Twenty-five years after the first Harry Potter stories stole hearts, HBO shares an inside look at the new television series. This is a behind-the-scenes special that shows how the team built everything. It also focuses on the hard work of casting directors, production designers, costume makers, and creature artists. Narrated by Nick Frost, who plays Hagrid, the show features short conversations with John Lithgow as Dumbledore, Janet McTeer as McGonagall, and Paapa Essiedu as Snape. So bookmark your calendar because this special airs on April 6.

Hacks season 5  (JioHotstar)

Comedy lovers can look forward to the end of a beloved show. The final season of Hacks stars Jean Smart as the unstoppable Deborah Vance. She returns to Las Vegas with Hannah Einbinder’s character, Ava, even after false rumours about her. Together, they face changing relationships and tough personal moments. Starring Paul W. Downs and Megan Stalter, it will premiere on April 9.

Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord (JioHotstar)

The series, featuring Sam Witwer as Maul, Wagner Moura, and Richard Ayoade, picks up after The Clone Wars. It follows Maul as he works to rebuild his criminal empire. Netflix offers a new crime comedy series called Big Mistakes. Created by Dan Levy and Rachel Sennott, the show also has Levy as the lead role and showrunner. The series follows characters who find themselves in tricky and funny criminal situations. It will drop on April 9.

O’Romeo (Amazon Prime Video)

Featuring Shahid Kapoor as Ustara, a skilled hitman who stays loyal to an intelligence officer named Ismail Khan, portrayed by Nana Patekar. Ismail once saved Ustara’s life, but the hitman now feels worn out by the work. Triptii Dimri appears as Afsha, a woman driven by deep anger. She tries to hire Ustara to take out four targets, including a powerful gangster played by Avinash Tiwary. At first he turns her down. The movie then reveals Afsha’s painful past and reasons for seeking payback. As events unfold, Ustara starts to fall for Afsha, though her focus stays only on revenge. Slowly, her goal becomes his own too. The film will come out on the OTT platform on April 10.

Outcome (Apple TV)

Another intriguing title drops on April 10 with Outcome. This black comedy comes from director and co-writer Jonah Hill, who also acts in it. The cast includes Keanu Reeves, Matt Bomer, and Cameron Diaz, and the story explores personal struggles and unexpected turns in a sharp, witty style.

Tu Yaa Main (Netflix)

The film follows two content creators with very different lives. Avani, also known as Miss Vanity and played by Shanaya Kapoor, has millions of followers and a glamorous world. Aala Flowpara, portrayed by Adarsh Gourav, is a rapper and creator from a simpler background in Nala Sopara. The movie uses split screens to show their contrasting daily routines in a smart way. The pair finds themselves in a rundown spot, facing real danger as they become trapped in a pool with a crocodile. What starts as a love story turns into a tense survival test that also challenges their relationship. Exciting? Well, it will be released on April 10.
