It’s hard to believe that we are already in the mid of August, it’s like the clock is ticking too fast. However, the only thing that can keep us a little sane and away from the harsh realities of life are some excellent movies and shows. July had been a good month for content, and August also started on a good note. But this week of the month has a lot more range in the kind of movies and shows that will be released on OTT or in the theatres. From August 14 to August 20, much-awaited films and documentaries like Depp Vs Heard, Taali, Ghoomer and more are coming out. And here’s a list of all the releases so you wouldn’t miss out on any.
Ghoomer (Theatre)
Abhishek Bachchan and Saiyami Kher starrer Ghoomer which is based around the story of a handicapped girl discovering a new style of bowling in cricket looks kaafi inspiring. The film’s release date is August 18, Friday.
Taali (Zee 5)
Sushmita Sen starrer Taali is based on the real-life story of activist Shreegauri Sawant who fought for the rights of her community and legalised the third gender. the film is already out on August 15, and the film has received a good response from the critics.
Depp Vs Heard (Netflix)
A documentary on the controversial defamation court case of celebrity couple Johnny Depp and Amber Heard is going to be out on August 16.
Guns & Gulaabs (Netflix)
Rajkummar Rao and Dulquer Salmaan starrer Guns & Gulaabs directed by Raj and DK is a dark comedy and the first look was impressive too. It will be out on August 18, Friday.

Haunting Of The Queen Mary (Theatre)
