Well, they are inevitable but as they say, movies are the best way to escape reality. So let’s just be glad about the fact that in the mid-week of April, there are some thrilling movie releases happening, on OTT and in the theatres. The week’s list is long because from Bhaijaan to Seema Aunty, many of your favourite personalities are coming this week to entertain you. And you are definitely not going out of options! Here’s the what-to-watch list from April 16 to April 23.

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (Theatres)

Salman Khan is coming with an action-packed drama Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Kis Jaan. The film will also star Pooja Hegde, Shehnaaz Gill and Siddharth Nigam among others. The film is going to have a theatrical release on April 21.

Tooth Pari (Netflix)

The horror thriller series Tooth Pari: When Love Bites helmed by Pratim D. Gupta is an unusual love story of a vampire and a human. The series will be led by Shantanu Maheshwari and Tanya Maniktala. Season 1 will have an OTT release on April 20.

Indian Matchmaking (Netflix)

Seema Aunty is back with the third season of Indian Matchmaking, one of the most entertaining shows that received much love from the audience in its first two seasons. Season 3 will premiere on April 21.

Evil Dead Rise (Theatre)

For all horror movie lovers, this one’s for you. Evil Dead Rise, a horror fantasy will feature Mirabai Pease, Anna Maree Thomas and Richard Crouchley in lead roles. The film is directed by Lee Cooper and will revolve around the life of two estranged sisters.

Chengiz (Theatres)

Chengiz directed by Rajesh Ganguly is set between the 70s and 90 eras and will revolve around the life of the underworld in Kolkata. It will release on April 21 in theatres near you!

Dead Ringers (Amazon Prime)

Season 1 of this psychological thriller starring Britne Oldford and Rachel Weisz looks kaafi interesting! The plot is about how twin sisters take it upon themselves to change the process of childbirth! It will premiere on Amazon Prime on April 21.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always (Netflix)

The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers franchise will be coming with a new part. The lead cast includes Catherine Sutherland, Walter Emanuel, David Yost and Steve Cardenas among others. It will have a global release on April 19 on Netflix.

Garmi (Sony Liv)

Garmi, a TV series directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia will star Vyom Yadav, Pankaj Saraswat and Disha Thakur in lead roles. It will take us through the unpredictable and corrupt world of politics and crime! The series will be available from April 21.

Ghosted (Apple TV)

Comedy, romance, adventure and action, you name and this film has all the super fun elements to give its viewers a fun movie-watching experience. Ghosted is directed by Dexter Fletcher and stars Ana De Armas and Chris Evans in lead roles. It will release on April 21. 

Longest Third Date (Netflix)

It is a series with a story about a couple who ended up falling for each other while quarantining. The series is directed by Brent Hodge and will release on April 21.
