The Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru, Sarfira is all set to release in the theatres on July 12. Directed by Sudha Kongara, who also directed the Tamil version, stars Akshay Kumar, Radhikka Madan, and Paresh Rawal in the lead roles. Sarfira, an adaption of G R Gopinath’s memoir Simply Fly: A Deccan Odyssey is about Vir Mhatre, an ex-army officer. The man who has the bold idea to start a low-cost airline for people who would never consider using air travel for transportation. However, strong business tycoon Paresh Goswami poses a threat to ground him before his flight, creating headwinds for his vision. But does he succeed in his goals, or will Paresh Goswami break his spirit?
2. Wild Wild Punjab (Netflix)
Director Luv Ranjan brings you another comedy on friendship with Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, Sunny Singh, and Jassi Gill in lead roles. The story revolves around Rajesh Khanna (Varun Sharma), trying to deal with his breakup. He embarks on a crazy road trip with his best buddies, Maan Arora (Sunny Singh), Honey Singh (Manjot Singh), and Gaurav Jain (Jassi Gill), determined to confront his ex-girlfriend at her wedding. But this quest for retribution and closure quickly devolves into a string of absurd mishaps with surprising turns, with chaotic fights and unpleasing encounters with strange locals. The film was released on July 10.
3. Showtime Season 1 Part 2 ( Disney + Hotstar)
The drama inside the ruthless Bollywood elite heats up in the eagerly awaited Showtime sequel. Emraan Hashmi’s character Raghu Khanna suffers a serious blow when a tax raid on his production company compromises his future. In the meantime, Saajan (Vijay Raaz) tries to align himself with Mahika (Mahima Makwana) and break connections with Raghu. The complicated dynamics of Mandira’s (Shriya Saran) and Armaan’s (Rajeev Khandelwal) relationship are still developing despite many difficulties. 4. Kakuda ( Zee5)
Kakuda is a horror comedy film directed by Aditya Sarpotdar that takes place in the sleepy town of Ratodi, Uttar Pradesh investigating an odd local custom. Every residence there has to open a little door at precisely 7:15 p.m. on Tuesdays. On Failing they will incur the wrath of the enigmatic monster Kakuda. After marrying Sunny (Saqib Saleem), a local, Indira (Sonakshi Sinha), a determined lady of science, finds herself entangled in this strange place as the rural people struggle with the unsettling curse that has haunted their homes for decades. Indira sees unexplainable occurrences that challenge her steadfast faith in rationality. With the entrance of Victor (Ritesh Deshmukh), a peculiar ghost hunter whose unusual techniques add a twist to the story.
5. Pariah (Hoichoi)
Directed and written by Tathagata Mukherjee, Pariah is about the injustice done to stray animals. The character portrayed by Vikram Chatterjee is a secluded, short-tempered man who battles against the cruel care given to stray dogs. He finds himself up against a massive dog trafficking ring, fighting for their life. The film will release on July 12.
6. Vikings: Valhalla Season 3 (Netflix)
The anticipated third instalment of Vikings: Vallah is set 7 years after the conclusion of season 2. It is now known that Freydis Eriksdotter (Frida Gustavsson) is the head of the Pagan community in Jomsborg. And also Constantinople has seen the rise in popularity of Leif Eriksson (Sam Corlett) and Harald Sigurdsson (Leo Suter). But after their victories, they face fresh, difficult obstacles that put their leadership and dedication to the test. Ava is adamant about fighting until destiny steps in and exposes the evil actions that once prevented her from connecting with her soulmate. The film was released on Prime Video on July 11.
8. Commander Karan Saxena ( Disney + Hotstar)
In this gripping thriller, Gurmeet Choudhary plays RAW agent Commander Karan Saxena, who must navigate a risky operation involving high-stakes espionage and political intrigue. In the context of growing hostilities between India and Pakistan, Karan has to face down powerful foes and unearth a scheme that could jeopardize national security. Amit Khan’s character serves as the basis for the television program, which also has important appearances from Iqbal Khan and Hruta Durgule. The film was released on the platform on July 8.

The protagonist of the tale is a young manDennis Mojen, who first meets his girlfriend’s parents, only to have things complicated when her ex-boyfriend shows up out of the blue. Dennis Mojen, Janina Uhse, and Anna Maria Mühe are the film’s stars. It looks to be a funny and awkward look at relationships and family dynamics.
