As we approach the monsoon season, the urge to ditch work (which you shouldn’t) and watch something new with a hot cup of tea increases. June has been a month of a lot of new releases, be it OTT or the theatres, we have a lot to watch. And if you are confused about what to pick to binge-watch this week, we’ve curated a list of movies and series like Chandu Champion, Bridgeton, House Of The Dragon 2, and much more ready to go!
1. Bridgeton Season 3 Part 2 (Netflix)
Dearest gentle readers, this week we finally embark on the final and the much-awaited part of the season and we are so excited! At the end of the fourth episode of the previous part, we saw everything working out between Penelope and Colin after a lot of tension between them. But as happy as we are to see the couple together finally, the questions that arise in our minds are – Would Colin still marry Penelope when he finds out that she is Lady Whistledown who he despises? And would Eloise help out her best friend?
2. Chandu Champion (Theater)
Kartik Aryan’s latest venture Chandu Champion has been in the spotlight for quite some time and grabbed even more eyeballs after he posted pictures of his physical transformation for the role. Featuring Kartik in the title role, the movie is a biography based on the life of India’s first Paralympic gold medallist Murlikant Petkar. In the Kabir Khan directorial, Petkar continues to compete and thrive in sports following his stint in the army, despite his injuries.
3. House Of The Dragon Season 2 (JioCinema)
Even though it has been a mere one and a half years since House Of The Dragon Season 1 was released, fans feel like it has been forever (even though a half-year gap only means a few hours in the dragon world). Seeing Lucerys Targeryn die in the last episode made us all screech and wait for the next season!
4. Luv Ki Arrange Marriage (ZEE5)
Avneet Kaur and Sunny Singh starrer coming-of-age romantic comedy Luv Ki Arrange Marriage is going to release in theatres on June 14. The plot revolves around a young couple that meets through a traditional arranged marriage setup and begins to fall for each other. However, they are stunned to find that their parents have fallen in love when they decide to tell their families about their future intentions.
5. The Boys Season 4 (Amazon Prime Video)
Get ready for Season 4 of The Boys to blast back onto our screens! Homelander, the deranged Superleader, holds on tighter to a world that is about to collapse. Butcher, in the meantime, struggles with a broken squad and Becca’s passing while driven by retaliation and the knowledge that his time is running out. Can The Boys go past their conflicts and unite to oppose Homelander’s despotism?
6. Maharaj (Netflix)
Amir Khan’s son Junaid Khan is all set to make his OTT debut with Maharaj on Netflix. The film also stars Shalini Pandey and Jaideep Ahlawat. It revolves around a journalist who challenges a spiritual leader while promoting social change and women’s rights.
7. The Iron Claw (Lionsgate)
Starring Zac Efron (already excited!) and Jeremy Allen White, is set to debut on OTT in India. The Von Erich family documentary will only be available for streaming on Lionsgate Play! The film showcases the ascent and descent of Kevin and Kerry Von Erich as they navigate the emotional ups and downs of their careers and brotherhood in a story that helped popularize wrestling.
8. Tarot (Theatre)
This supernatural horror movie involves a group of college students out on a weekend vacation in the Catskill Mountains. they discover an old tarot deck. A demonic power is outed by their curiosity, and a lot of scary deaths that follow uncannily coincide with the tarot readings. The friends learn about the sinister past of the tarot’s inventor, an 18th century astrologer who condemned those who followed her predictions, as they worked to remove the curse.

9. Zara Hatke Zara Bachke (Amazon Prime Video)
Sara Ali Khan and Vicky Kaushal starre, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke had a successful run in the theatres and is now ready to make its OTT release. Kapil, a yoga instructor, and Somya, a teacher, who live in a cramped house with their family dream of having a personal place for themselves. Their desire for independence leads them to a desperate measure: a fake divorce.
10. Joko Anwar’s Nightmare and Daydreams (Netflix)
This visually stunning film promises a captivating blend of humour, adventure, and a touch of spookiness, perfect for families of all ages. Get ready to be whisked away on a fantastical journey with Joco Anverse: Nightmare and Daydreams, that is hitting Netflix soon. Joco, a curious child with a boundless imagination, embarks on a thrilling exploration of his mind. 11. Inside Out 2 (Theatres)
Riley’s back, and this time, her emotions are facing a whole new set of challenges! Inside Out 2 takes us back to the headquarters of Riley’s mind, where Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust have been keeping things running smoothly – for the most part. But as Riley enters her teenage years, a new emotion arrives: Anxiety. Feeling overwhelmed and threatened by this newcomer, the established emotions struggle to understand their role and how to best support Riley through the complexities of adolescence.
The Watchers (Theatre)
Lost in the wilds of Ireland, Mina, an American artist, seeks refuge in a hidden bunker after her car breaks down.
