The much-awaited Squid Game season 3 is finally here, and it has sparked conversations on social media. Well, among other things that are being discussed, a controversial birth scene has taken everyone’s attention, but not for very good reasons. Social media users are discussing the practicality of the birth scene, which lasted for hardly 5 minutes and questioning how a delivery could be shown without any kind of labour pain. What Is Birth-Scene Controversy?

Squid Game 3 has a birth scene of contestant Kim Jun-hee going into labour and then delivering a child with the help of another contestant, Geum Ja (Kang Ae-sim). The scene in episode 2 is gaining a lot of attention on social media. This is because this birth scene did not have any kind of complications like labour pain or any other kind of pain, and the baby was born without any kind of medical assistance. Now, it’s for the social media users to digest this childbirth scene, which looked very superficial. To top it all, the contestant gave birth in the middle of a game.

One user on Twitter made a sarcastic comment on the show, and after calling it ‘realistic’, the user went on to write about the unbelievable childbirth scene where there was no blood and no pain.

Gihun made it to the final games twice. Junhee gave birth in less than 15 minutes, no bleeding, nothing, but her broken ankle was treated as more painful than childbirth. The baby didn’t have diapers and was fed twice but still survived.
