As mentioned earlier, the official statement about the cause of Kamini Kaushal’s death has not been released yet. According to the reports, a source close to the actress’ family shared that they did not wish to reveal any more information regarding the same. An unidentified insider reportedly shared that the veteran star’s family is “extremely low profile and needs privacy.” Zoom mentioned in their report that the 98-year-old star passed away from natural causes which were related to her health problems. But it is important to remember that the family members or Kaushal’s loved ones haven’t officially revealed anything yet. Kamini Kaushal was born in Lahore on February 24, 1927. She made her debut in the Hindi film industry by starring in the 1946 released film Neecha Nagar, which ended up winning Cannes Film Festival’s Palme d’Or award. This is the only Indian film that has received this honour at that festival. Apart from the aforementioned film, Kaushal also starred in Ziddi, Shaheed, Nadiyan Ke Paar, Biraj Bahu, Shayar, Shabman and more.
