Huma Qureshi On Cheating
Huma Qureshi recently appeared on Shubhankar Mishra’s podcast, where she clarified her stance on the argument that began on Kajol and Twinkle Khanna’s chat show, Too Much – Which cheating is worse? Emotional or physical? The actress expressed sentiments that are common among social media users and talk show viewers. She remarked that cheating is cheating, be it physical or emotional, and inquired what emotional infidelity is anyway.
She said, “I am very black-white in this matter. Either don’t be with someone, or if you are with someone, then be with them properly. I don’t understand this free pass kind of thing.” Huma Qureshi’s viewpoint became increasingly evident when the host asked her about Kajol and Twinkle’s comment that today’s youth will have a totally different perspective on infidelity as they become older, particularly in their 50s.
Taking Huma Qureshi’s comments into account, the host, Shubhankar Mishra, asked the actress if she had ever experienced culture shock after hearing about open marriages and other odd arrangements in the film industry. Huma responded by sharing how difficult it was for her to move from Delhi to Mumbai. Huma Qureshi also stated that she is not a supporter of open partnerships.
