In the sixth episode of Wednesday’s second season, titled Woe Thyself, Wednesday Addams, aka Jenna Ortega, made everyone’s jaws drop. She transformed her look while grooving to the K-pop group’s hit song Boombayah. Fans were caught off guard with the song choice but they were super thrilled to see the K-pop group’s music paired with such an iconic character.

Well, this wasn’t the first time BLACKPINK’s music was played in a popular show. In The Summer I Turned Pretty season three, a heartwarming scene featured three friends practising a dance routine to BLACKPINK’s Typa Girl for a wedding rehearsal. So, fans were once again reminded of the K-pop group’s global influence and popularity.
