The episode instantly went viral and garnered the actor praise for her grounded and kind nature. Alia Bhatt recently visited the JECRC University in Jaipur to promote her upcoming spy thriller, Alpha. And during a conversation, she discussed her appearance on the first episode of India’s Got Latent 2, when a student asked her why she chose the controversial show to promote her film. And while she was speaking, somebody from the audience shouted, “Paisa”, after which the actor strongly replied that someone “poor” must have made this comment, which made us laugh!

After this, Samay Raina also shared this clip on his Instagram stories and appreciated the killing reply that Bhatt gave to the student. For the unversed, this reply by Alia was also a reference to an instance from the episode when Samay asked a contestant what girls wanted from men, to which an audience member shouted, “Paisa.” When Alia Bhatt asked who it was to which Raina responded, “someone poor.” The first episode of India’s Got Latent 2 streamed on Netflix and YouTube simultaneously.
