However, after it was out, many expressed disappointment over its storyline and also mentioned that the film involved a lot of violence. Now reacting to the critics, director Vishal Bhardwaj candidly expressed that he was “proud” of the film and that it is going to be one of his most successful projects. Vishal Bhardwaj On Critics Critising O’Romeo

During his conversation with Press Trust Of India (PTI), O’ Romeo director Vishal Bhardwaj stated that this is going to be one of his most successful films. The filmmaker mentioned that he needed to say that to break the critics’ hearts who critised the movie. Vishal Bhardwaj further said that no matter what they felt, O’Romeo is going to be the most successful film of his life, adding that he is “so proud” of it and not “ashamed” at all. He also expressed his happiness and being proud of the violence and love story he has created.

Here’s What You Should Know

O’ Romeo, which has been directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and produced by Nadiawala Grandson Entertainment, garnered mixed reactions from the audience on various social media platforms. While many praised lead star Shahid Kapoor’s acting, others pointed out the amount of violence that was shown in the movie. As per the reports, the film has so far earned Rs 43.85 crore at the box office. For the unversed, apart from Shahid, the movie also features Tripti Dimri, Tamannaah Bhatia, Vikrant Massey, Nana Patekar, Farida Jalal and Avinash Tiwary. 

It’s worth mentioning that O’ Romeo marked the fourth collaboration between Vishal Bhardwaj and Shahid Kapoor after Kaminey, Rangoon and Haider.
