Not Raazi With Paparazzi: Virat Kohli, Hrithik Roshan, Taapsee And More Celebs Who Called Out Invasion Of Privacy
And yet the paps do not respect boundaries!
Even though I am not a popular person, seeing the paparazzi hound celebrities for pictures and videos makes me feel very uncomfortable. And sadly, this is the daily life of celebrities. Yes, it is understandable that they are public figures, and seeing them off-camera in person arouses curiosity regarding what they are doing, where they are going and with whom. But in the name of exclusive content, paparazzi have been crossing lines to click pictures of celebs by intruding on their personal space. The most recent incident took place with Alia Bhatt who called out an entertainment portal for clicking pictures of her when she was at home. This is not the first time celebrities have called out paps on their intrusive behaviour. Here are six instances when Indian celebs got mad at media photographers for violating their privacy.
1. Jaya Bachchan
As vocal as Jaya Bachchan is about women’s and civic issues in the Parliament, she also does not hesitate before calling paps out on their intrusive behaviour. Recently, she was seen travelling with Amitabh Bachchan and was clicked by the paps. She asked them not to click her pictures, and yet there were people who continued doing so. Jayaji got so angry that she was heard saying that these photographers should be fired.

2. Taapsee Pannu
Taapsee Pannu has also had altercations with the paps on several occasions in the past. Once when she was trying to get into her car, the paps tried to click her pictures and gathered around the car’s door. In the viral video, she was seen telling them to not do this and shutting her car door. On another occasion, the paps hounded for pictures, and she was heard telling them to back off as they brought their cameras too close to her.

3. Anushka Sharma
Anushka Sharma, for one, has always been very vocal about the paps’ intrusive behaviour. She has called them out multiple times. She got angry at the same entertainment portal that invaded Alia Bhatt’s privacy for sharing her photo as she was sitting in the balcony of her home with her husband Virat Kohli.
4. Janhvi Kapoor
Janhvi Kapoor shared her instances of how the same media portal invaded her privacy, too, when she was at the gym. Taking to her social media handle, she wrote that despite having requested the portal multiple times, they have taken her pictures when she was unaware when she was gyming.
5. Virat Kohli
Virat Kohli lost his cool when a video of his hotel room was shared on social media. He was absolutely against the treatment of his privacy as ‘entertainment’. He also wrote that this video made him feel paranoid about his privacy.

6. Hrithik Roshan
Hrithik Roshan who is never known to lose his cool, lost it at the paps in 2011 when he was visiting the Shirdi temple to offer prayers. As per reports, he said that it took him an effort to pray when there were cameras everywhere.

Despite these instances and the paps never seem to learn their lesson. The heights they are willing to go to capture a celeb’s private moment are unbelievable. When will they ever learn to respect the private space of a celeb?
