Vikrant Massey Denies Losing Cousin In Ahmedabad Plane Crash, Says Victim Was Family Friend

The tragic Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad took many lives and left the nation broken. While many lost their loved ones, Bollywood actor Vikrant Massey revealed that his uncle lost his son amid the incident. Many people on the internet took the deceased Clive Kunder to be his cousin, but the actor recently confirmed that he was a family friend. Vikrant further requested everyone to let the family grieve in peace. Read to know more about it.

What Vikrant Massey Said

The confusion first arose from Vikrant Massey’s Instagram story after the tragic Ahmedabad accident. While sharing his condolences, Massey wrote that his uncle Clifford Kunder’s son Clive Kunder was among the victims. Later, on Thursday, June 12, he took to his social media to clarify the misunderstanding. He wrote, “Dear friends in the media and elsewhere, the unfortunately diseased Mr. Clive Kunder was not my cousin. The Kunders are our family friends. Request no more speculations and let the family and loved ones grieve in peace.”

His earlier Instagram story read, “It pains even more to know that my uncle, Clifford Kunder, lost his son, Clive Kunder, who was the 1st officer operating on that fateful flight”. Which led people to think that Clive Kunder was his cousin.

On Thursday, June 12, a London-bound Air India plane crashed minutes after take-off from Ahmedabad’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport. The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner had 242 people, including 12 crew members. According to reports, only one person has reportedly survived the deadly crash that happened seconds after Captain Sumeet Sabharway sent a Mayday call.
