The speculations escalated after the duo made a joint appearance at producer Kalpathi S’s son’s reception. Now, amid the ongoing discussions about the same, filmmaker Vikram Bhatt shared a long note on his Instagram, seemingly defending the duo if the rumours are true. Know what he said below!

Vikram Bhatt took to his Instagram and shared a post with a picture consisting of two people holding hands. It had a note stating that their movies belong to us, not their lives. While talking about the speculations surrounding Vijay Thalapathy and Trisha Krishnan‘s rumoured relationship, the filmmaker’s caption mentioned that he didn’t know if they were true. But in case those rumours are true, he was compelled to say a few things. His recent incarceration has made him understand the value of freedom. He added that there is worse incarceration, which is the incarceration of the human soul, happiness, when two people remain trapped in a relationship that has run its course, but society insists that the relationship must continue; that too is a jail. Further in the caption, Bhatt mentioned that he has been on both sides of the equation.

He Found Something Admirable In Vijay And Trisha’s Relationship
Vikram Bhatt further wrote about finding something admirable in Vijay Thalapathy and Trisha Krishnan’s relationship. He penned that there was dignity in not pretending that something does not exist, in not hiding love as though it were something sinful. He acknowledged knowing another kind of life people live, which includes men who run anonymous profiles on dating sites, who delete their messages before they get home, who spend afternoons with women they will never respect enough to acknowledge publicly. Bhatt added, “And yet it is often these very people who sit in judgment over others.” Further in the caption, the filmmaker mentioned that their films belong to us, not their lives.
