After a long long wait, Mirzapur 3 is finally coming to our screens and there’s so much that we’re looking forward to. From the character graphs to new additions in the cast and a twisted plot line, the trailer already has us seated. In the latest update, actor Vijay Varma who will be seen playing an imperative role in the series spoke about performing intimate scenes with actress Shweta Tripathi AKA Golu in the previous season.

This season, Golu and Chote Tyagi will be further seen exploring the sexual tension between them which will bring an important twist to the series. Speaking about the same, Varma said it is an interesting experiment for both characters. He further mentioned–”On the surface, she comes across as a very normal and cutesy girl. But, people forget that in her first scene, she’s seen reading an erotica of a certain nature in a library. She’s bent differently, and she introduces him to it (erotica).”

Describing a scene in the show where Golu gives him a belt, Varma revealed it was interesting for his character to learn and experience something like this. He also said–”We learn so much from our partners. Early on, especially sexually, it’s not like you discover everything on your own. When you meet a certain kind of energy, you turn from a boy into a man.” He added–”When Golu gives him the belt and says maaro, he starts beating himself. When I came up with this idea, director Gurmeet Singh started laughing. I told him that this guy doesn’t know what she means.”

Varma also spoke about the work put in by intimacy coordinators and that the actors are told what they can touch and what they cannot, and what’s your safe zone and no-go zone. Well, that’s interesting. Mirzapur 3 features Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Harshita Gaur, Sheeba Chaddha, and more in pivotal roles. The show is slated to release on July 5.
