On Tuesday, October 27, Uorfi Javed took to her Instagram stories and claimed that her society had brought a new rule restricting filming content inside homes. She said that they argued that such shoots are commercial activities since videos on her social media contribute to her popularity. She further alleged that the society committee had done this to harass her. Javed said that this happened after many men tried to convince her landlord to kick her out, and now their egos have been hurt. She alleged that the bags of her guests’ bags to check if they were bringing any camera equipments. She questioned how this was even illegal since many people shoot content in their houses.
Previously in September as well, Uorfi had claimed that her society had restricted visitors from entering the premises post 10 PM. This also included people coming for professional commitments like shoots or interviews. Further information about the events is awaited from her side.
