In unfortunate news, the Veteran Korean actor Ahn Sung Ki, who has been a part of many big projects, suffered a sudden cardiac arrest. He was immediately taken to the hospital, and this incident happened on December 30. He is receiving treatment; however, the actor’s agency has also requested some privacy while he undergoes treatment for his health. Read here for more.
Ahn Sung-Ki Hospitalised After Suffering Heart Attack
The Veteran Korean actor has worked in several K-dramas and films like The Divine Weapon, Top Star, Eternal Empire, and The Warrior, among others. The 71-year-old actor was at his residence in Seoul, South Korea, when he suffered the cardiac arrest. As per his management agency Artist Company also put out an official statement regarding his health. They confirmed that the actor was in critical condition but was receiving intensive care and proper treatment. They also confirmed that the actor was at his residence when he collapsed on December 30. The agency further informed that he was admitted in the ICU, of a nearby hospital where he was receiving the treatment.
As per the reports, back in 2019, the actor had also revealed that he receiving treatment for blood cancer. But nothing much was revealed later.

On the work front, Ahn Sung Ki has contributed immensely to the entertainment world. He has done over 130 films, and his performance in The Divine Fury is quite well-known. Ahn Sung Ki was last in films Hansan: Rising Dragon (2022) and Noryang: Deadly Sea (2023). He had started in journey as a child actor in 1957.
