Who would have thought that a seemingly simple action by Varun Dhawan could have its own consequences? That’s exactly what happened when the actor recently travelled in Mumbai Metro. At one point, during his journey, the Student Of The Year star performed pull-ups. That was surely surprising but shocking as well, because the Maha Mumbai Metro Operations Corporation Limited (MMMOCL) noticed it and shared a post, asking people not to perform such acts. Lets dive deep to know more!
What Did MMMOCL Post?
As a part of his latest film Border 2’s promotions, Varun Dhawan surprised everyone by taking a metro train at Gundavali station on Saturday. A video of him surfaced where the actor was seen grabbing handles in the metro and performing pull-ups. The clip of the same was shared on MMMOCL’s social media page. In the caption, people were asked not to perform the said act in the metro. They also mentioned that such acts are punishable under the actions related to causing nuisance and/ or damage to property, given under The Metro Railways (Operations and Maintenance) Act 2002; attracting penalties and even imprisonment depending on the gravity of the offence. The caption ended with, “So folks, hang out, but don’t hang in there. Travel responsibly on Maha Mumbai Metro.” Later, the post was deleted.
