Bollywood stars Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor have known each other since their childhood. While the former rejected the latter’s proposal, she even had him beaten up for the same. Hearing such funny incidents from their childhood makes fans laugh, so Dhawan decided to share another one. During a conversation, he revealed that he regretted rejecting Kapoor when they became teenagers.
Varun Dhawan Rejected Shraddha Kapoor
When they were 8 years old, Shraddha Kapoor developed a crush on Varun Dhawan and even confessed during a film shoot. But the Baby John star rejected her after which, she had him beaten up. During a conversation with Shubhankar Mishra, he revealed that two years later on her tenth birthday, Shraddha still remembered the rejection.
He revealed that during the birthday party, he was confronted by four boys who were in love with the actress. He remembered playing in a jumping during the party. Suddenly, the four captured him and said, “Why don’t you like Shraddha?” They even forced him to like her. “These were the guys who liked her. They started fighting with me. I was beaten up. She made them beat me up because I was not accepting her proposal.” He continued by saying that it became a filmy scene as he beat him too.

Later during their teenage years, Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor reconnected during a dandiya function at Shraddha’s school. Varun, who attended a different school, took part in the event. He remembered participating in a dandiya competition at her school. While he was hiding after hitting someone, he saw Kapoor coming in slow motion and instantly regretted rejecting her. “We then became friends. This is a huge story. You ask her what happened next,” he said. That’s so cute!
