As per FilmiBeat, Varun Dhawan allegedly received a whopping amount of Rs 15 Crores, while his co-star, Janhvi Kapoor, made Rs 5 Crores from the film.
On the other hand, both Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Sarag reportedly received Rs 1 Crore for their respective roles. This made Dhawan the highest-paid actor among the SSKTK pack. Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is similar to other romcoms, but it has a distinct premise that makes it appealing to audiences. Varun played ‘Sunny Sanskari’, and Janhvi Kapoor portrayed ‘Tulsi Kumari’. Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf played ‘Ananya’ and ‘Vikram’, respectively. The film began with a situationship, which ‘Sunny’ took seriously, and he was on his knees proposing marriage.
According to Bollywood Hungama, the CBFC requested two substantial modifications before approving the film. According to reports, around 60% of the film’s kissing scenes were ordered to be eliminated. Another sequence highlighted by the board involved Varun Dhawan replacing a slur with the term “Guard”.
