Uorfi Javed Reportedly Detained In Dubai For Shooting In ‘Revealing Outfit’ In Public

Uorfi Javed always grabs eyeballs with the unique outfits she wears. From just using ropes to make a dress to incorporating blades, the social media star uses her skills to make the most unconventional dresses herself. But it looks like her fashion choice did not sit well with the Dubai government as she has been detained at the airport there. Uorfi has landed into a soup as she was apparently wearing a ‘revealing outfit’ while shooting for in Dubai.

As per a report by The Times Of India, the former Bigg Boss OTT contestant has been detained by authorities at Dubai airport wearing a ‘revealing outfit’ and shooting in a public area. Dubai has strict rules on what kind of outfits women are supposed to wear and it looks like Uorfi’s unconventional outfit was not approved by them. The actress is in Dubai for over a week now where she is shooting for her upcoming projects.
A source close to the aforementioned publication has revealed that Uorfi Javed shot content for her Instagram handle wearing an outfit made by her which was labelled ‘revealing’ by the Dubai authorities. They also clarified that there was nothing wrong with the outfit except that she wore it in a public place and this is against the rules there. The source also confirmed that she is being questioned by the Dubai police and is waiting for more updates on the same.

This is not the first time Uorfi has landed in trouble because of her outfits. An FIR was filed in Andheri on the grounds of committing ‘obscene acts’ in public.
The 25-year-old actress has been sharing videos on her social media from her time in Dubai donning the most atypical outfits. She made a funny reel recently on how she would dress in the parallel universe. In this video, she was seen wearing a salwar kameez on the beach while others around her wore swimsuits!
