Udit Narayan, known for his melodious voice, has grabbed media attention once again for serious allegations. His first wife, Ranjana Narayan Jha filed a complaint at the Women’s Police Station in Bihar at Supaul district, accusing him, his two brother and his second wife, Deepa Narayan of being in criminal conspiracy and allegedly removing her uterus without her consent. She mentioned discovering that this had happened years later during a medical check-up.
Udit Narayan’s First Wife Accuses Him Of Removing Her Uterus Without Consent
As per media reports, Udit Narayan’s first wife, Ranjana Narayan Jha said she married him in 1984 after which he moved to Mumbai to pursue his music career. She alleged that he married another woman, Deepa Narayan, which she learned through the media. Ranjana also mentioned that whenever she confronted the singer about it, he kept misleading her. Further, she also reportedly alleged that in 1996, she was taken to a Delhi hospital under the pretext of medical treatment, adding that her uterus was removed without her consent or knowledge. Ranjana claimed that Udit, his brothers Sanjay Kumar Jha and Lalit Narayan jha along with his second wife, Deepa Narayan, were present when this happened.
While speaking with the press, Ranjana stated that she felt compelled to file a new complaint as she had been ignored for years. Ranjana also mentioned that nowadays she is constantly unwell and also needs her husband’s support. She claimed that her husband is not saying or doing anything. She also alleged that back in 2005, when she visited Mumbai, she was abused and denied entry at Udit and Deepa’s residence. Ranjana added that after visiting her in-laws’ house in Nepal, she was insulted and “shooed away.”

It’s worth mentioning that Ranjana Narayan Jha filed a maintenance case against Udit Narayan previously. He reportedly appeared at the Supaul Family Court in 2025 but didn’t agree to settle the case. She has accused her husband of abandonment and keeping Rs. 18 lakhs from the sale of their Nepal property. Ranjana claimed that whenever she visits Mumbai to meet Udit, she is followed by people hired to intimidate her.
Anju Tiwari, the Women’s Police Station in charge, reportedly confirmed the complaint and stated that the allegation dates back to almost thirty years. It was also revealed that the matter is under investigation and based on the facts that will surface, an FIR will be registered.
