According to reports, in a statement, Kim Min-ha shared how much she loved the idea of dubbing and had dreamed about it for years, so getting to bring a character to life with her voice felt like a big honour. At first, acting without showing her face or moving her body seemed strange and tricky, but that challenge made the whole experience more fun and personal. She really hopes audiences feel the same warmth and inspiration from Shenba’s path that she discovered while recording the lines.
For the unversed, Made in Korea is a light-hearted yet touching 2026 comedy-drama that brings India and South Korea together. Director and writer Ra. Karthik crafted the story, with Sreenidhi Sagar producing under Rise East Entertainment. Priyanka Arul Mohan plays the character of Shenba, a young woman from a small town in Tamil Nadu who has always dreamed of South Korea, thanks to K-dramas and culture.
When she finally arrives in Seoul, things get tough with loneliness, surprises, and everyday struggles in a new place. Park Hye-jin plays a key supporting role, joined by actors like Si-hun Baek, Rishikanth, Ha-Ram Jo, and Jae-hyeon Jang. The film shows how friendship, courage, and self-discovery can bridge big differences.
