Tyla Sports A Bindi At Mumbai Concert, Wins Hearts Of Desi Fans. How Cute!

International singer Tyla lit the stage up yesterday in Mumbai at the Indian Sneaker Festival on Sunday, December 12. The Grammy-winning star made everyone dance till their feet hurt by singing some of her most iconic songs like ‘Push 2 Start and ‘Chanel.’ What was supposed to be a debut performance turned into a triumphant homecoming, with Tyla demonstrating her innate understanding of the pulse of a Mumbai audience. But here are our favourite highlights from her performance, including her bindi!

Tyla Turns Desi In Mumbai

Tyla touched down on the stage in a sizzling neon-lime bralette layered beneath a bejewelled metallic halter piece. It was styled with multi-headed sequin shorts, which were rhythmic and matched the aesthetic of the environment unmistakably. But what made the crowd go frenzy was her tiny and delicate bindi that seamlessly merged with her Y2K glam. We love! She also traded her usual short hair for flowing, long lengths as she said, “Namaste Mumbai” in her iconic tone.

She also raised the bar with her beautiful hair art, which literally had the word ‘Mumbai’ written on it, and we’re lowkey obsessed! She delivered a tight, adrenaline-fueled 60-minute concert that alternated between velvety-smooth vocals and razor-sharp dance.  Her setlist included Chanel, Push 2 Start, Truth or Dare, Show Me Love, Is It, and the worldwide hit Water.

Each transition felt orchestrated not only for the ears, but also for the visual spectacle she created with her team. A mid-show dance clash with her background dancers elicited a collective yell from the audience, reaffirming her status as one of the most captivating performers of her generation.
