The film Arjun Reddy on its Hindi remake Kabir Singh received a lot of criticism and backlash from the audience, especially girls for romanticising the traits of a toxic lead character. Well, on the last season of Koffee With Karan, director Karan Johar also asked for Vivek Deverakonda’s opinion on the same as he played the lead in the original film. Ananya Panday also accompanied him on the show, and she too gave her opinions on Arjun Reddy. Now that this much-loved show is coming back with a new season, a Twitter user randomly shared Ananya’s answer about the controversial film and praised her for choosing the right words to describe her thoughts.

Ananya Panday praised the film for its story, characters and performances but at the same time, she also talked about the problematic sides of such films. Elaborating on the same, the actress talked about how some people take inspiration from this film in real life and that’s something she finds wrong. Ananya Panday also said she does advise any of her friends to be in a toxic relationship like Arjun Reddy or is not even surrounded by people of such a mindset.
