This was due to strict rules from their companies, which wanted to maintain a certain image for the idols and keep fans from feeling jealous. However, as times have changed, many idols have started to open up about their personal lives, including their relationships and preferences. Talking about the same, recently TWICE’s leader Jihyo revealed that she would rather get cheated on than be ghosted in a relationship.
TWICE’s Jihyo Shares Her Thoughts On Cheating And Ghosting In Relationships
On October 8, 2024, the OOTB STUDIO YouTube channel released a new episode of Seibja, featuring TWICE’s Jihyo as the host. During this episode, Jihyo and the guests played a fun game called Pick One or the Other. Up next, the guesthouse staff asked Jihyo whether she would prefer to break up because their partner cheated or because they were ghosted. In response, Jihyo quickly stated that she would rather be cheated on than be ghosted in a relationship. Jihyo further also added an explanation.

She said that being ghosted would leave her confused, as she wouldn’t even know if the relationship was over. Furthermore, Jihyo talked about the importance of having closure. She stated that if someone cheated, at least she would understand that the relationship had ended. For the unversed, Jihyo is the leader of the popular K-pop girl group- TWICE. According to several reports, Jihyo is dating Olympic skeleton champion Yun Sung-bin. However, TWICE’s agency, JYP Entertainment couldn’t confirm the news as it is the idol’s private matter.
