TWICE’s Jeongyeon Shares Her Thoughts On Cancelled Event, Fans Blame JYP Entertainment For Lapses
Late on March 17, 2026, Jeongyeon replied to a fan’s query about the reasons her previously announced schedule was suddenly scrapped. Joking that it seemed the company didn’t like her, she promised to “work harder” to ensure more events in the future.
Citing her awareness of fan community discussions, she confirmed what many suspected. The K-pop idol had no idea why these cancellations seemed to happen with her and no one else. She added that it probably wasn’t done on purpose. Replying to a subscriber who professed to be upset, she said that she was upset about it too. Not wanting to make it a big deal, Jeongyeon requested that fans stay quiet.”
Concluding that one ought to care only about those who like you, she said she was apologetic and thankful that ONCEs liked her enough to be upset about events getting cancelled or rescheduled. She hoped to do better for their sake.
