Tunisha Sharma’s Suicide Case: Actor Sheezan Khan Granted Bail After Two Months

Only a few months back, actress Tunisha Sharma’s suicide case broke the internet. According to a complaint lodged by her mother, the actress’ Alibaba —Dastaan-e-Kabul co-star and alleged boyfriend–Sheezan Khan was arrested for alleged abetment to suicide. The actor spent almost two months in jail, following an interrogation process, where police explored his relationship status with Sharma.

According to the latest reports, Sheezan Khan has finally been granted bail. On Saturday, the Maharashtra court granted him bail in the case on a bail bond of Rs 1 lakh. Following this, the actor has been asked to submit his passport and strictly warned to not tamper with the evidence related to the case.

Previously on December 24, 2022, the 21-year-old actress was found hanging on the sets of her television show. Following this, the actress’ mother claimed the actor was responsible for her suicide and mentioned that he “used” her daughter. Contrary to this, the actor accepted to have a relationship with her, which soon ended. He also mentioned how breakups are normal in life, and this cannot claim to be the real reason behind her suicide.

The two-month-long case also brought the actor’s two sisters under the spotlight who protested for his bail and said the accusations against him were completely baseless. Amid all the controversies around the case, the makers of the television show, appointment new actors to fill the shoes of the leading cast.
