Bollywood actress Triptii Dimri garnered a lot of attention after her appearance in the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal. This was followed by her successful appearance in films like Bad Newz. Triptii Dimri On Her Role In Animal
During a recent interview with Forbes India, Triptii Dimri was asked about her over-s*xualised image after Animal. To this, she opened up about giving her hundred percent to a role and making it work. “There will be some people who like you and some who don’t. You can’t keep all that noise in mind,” she said. Dimri emphasised following her heart and doing things she felt were right at the moment. She said that even though one might look back and regret things they did, they have to remember that in that moment they were truthful and gave their all to it.

The Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 actress went on to draw comparisons between her roles between Zoya in Animal and Vidya in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. She said that playing the latter was rather challenging for her. Admitting that it was tough genre to crack, she said that it was challenging for her to act in front of brilliant actors like Vijay Raaz, Mallika Sherawat, and Rajkumar Rao.
Binding an actor to a single role of theirs is not fair, as it shackles their image into a box. Triptii Dimri has time and again proved her skills with amazing films like Bulbbul and Qala, and her choosing to go into the mainstream media is again her personal choice. This was a great reply to the backlash she has been receiving.
