Triptii Dimri Reveals She Cried For Days After Receiving Hate For Animal

Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna received a lot of criticism for its misogynistic themes. However, amid that, actress Triptii Dimri was also targeted for taking up a small role in the film after doing films Qala and Bulbbul. The actress finally opened up about the massive trolling that happened during that time. She also revealed that she cried for three days straight because it was hard to consume all the negativity around her.

Triptii Dimri On Trolls After Animal

Triptii Dimri will soon be seen in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video and she has been giving interviews for that. During the Ranveer Allahabadia podcast, the actress opened up about the massive trolling and negativity she received for her role in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal. Triptii Dimri revealed that she had been receiving only praises before Animal and therefore she was not used to the negativity that came after Animal. Triptii Dimri added that post-Animal it was the first time when she was getting so much hatred, and she also wondered why. The actress said that she only did her job and had no idea why people bashed her but Triptii also acknowledged that it was the one of results of going mainstream.

During the podcast, Triptii Dimri also revealed that cried for two to three days continuously because she was just looking at the negative side and was not accepting the praises that came her way. However, Triptii Dimri also felt grateful about getting to work with some known and talented faces in the film industry.
