Recently, the teaser of Yash starrer Toxic was dropped, and it evoked mixed reactions on social media. It also faced some legal backlash for the obscene scenes portrayed in the teaser. The teaser also featured an actress, and later director Geetu Mohandas introduced her to the world. What Happened?
In the Toxic teaser, the actor shared a steamy scene with Yash, and it got mixed reactions on the internet. There were several reports that identified her as the Ukrainian actor and model Natalie Burn. However, these claims were shut down by the director Geetu Mohandas, and she introduced the actor as Beatriz Taufenbach, a Brazilian actor and model. The director shared a picture of the actor and wrote that she was ‘Cemetery girl’ Beatriz Taufenbach.
Toxic teaser has received a lot of backlash, and the women’s wing of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) party has also filed a complaint on grounds of obscenity. Amid these criticism, looks like Beatriz Taufenbach has deleted her social media handle. There are several fan pages available, however, when one searches for the official handle, it shows that the profile is not available.

For the unversed, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups stars a range of actors like Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi and Tara Sutaria. The teaser promises a lot of action and drama in the film. It’s scheduled to release on March 19, 2026. Recently, the women’s wing of AAP filed a complaint with CBFC claiming that s*xually explicit content are not appropriate for the well-being of women and children. They have also sought ‘appropriate action’, as per the reports, however there are no official statements from the makers as of now.
