Famous star Govinda and his wife Ssunita Ahuja have been making headlines due to their alleged marriage troubles for the past few months. After reports suggesting that the couple were going to get divorced surfaced, rumours about the former’s alleged extramarital affair started swirling back. And amid this, their daughter, Tina Ahuja, has spoken about how the last few years have been ‘turbulent’ for her parents with news around their separation.

Tina Ahuja said that she had taken over her mother’s YouTube channel for a day in the new vlog. She added that she wanted to buy a surprise gift for her mother on the occasion of Women’s Day. She stated, “We women do so much for others and never think about ourselves. So I thought, why not do something special for my mom?” She shared how the last two years have been tough and that she wanted to move on and celebrate life.
Ahuja went ahead and bought sunflowers and a bunch of gifts for her mother, Ssunita, and the two were seen chatting inside their Mumbai house. Ssunita said that everything had a limit and that she would never tell anyone to leave their husband or kids. But after all this, at this point in her life, she wanted to live for herself because she deserved more than that.

Govinda and Ssunita have been married for more than three decades and have two children, Yashvardhan Ahuja and Tina Ahuja. Rumours of their divorce spread rapidly in 2025. However, during the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at their house, the couple addressed the media and denied the rumours. Meanwhile, Yashvardhan is planning for his debut film, which will also star Nitanshi Goel from Laapataa Ladies.
