Vashu Bhagnani and Jackky Bhagnani’s production house, Pooja Entertainment has been in the talks due to its alleged poor economic state. The production house has been in the news for numerous public outrages of the employees about their unpaid dues. Adding fuel to this fire, a recent report suggested that various actors from their recent film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan such as Tiger Shroff, Manushi Chhiller, Sonakshi Sinha, and Alaya F are yet to be paid for the film which was released in April!
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan Actors Still Await Payment From Pooja Entertainment
This shocking revelation was made by a source cited in The Indian Express. It suggests that Vashu Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment has still not cleared its dues with actors like Tiger Shroff for a film that was released in April. The source also stated that even though Tiger Shroff hasn’t received his payment for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, the actor has remained silent about his issues with the production house. However, after finding out that the crew also hasn’t been paid, the actor now wants Pooja Entertainment to clear all their dues immediately.
Actors Alaya F, Sonakshi Sinha, and Manushi Chhillar have also not received their payment. According to the source, despite their numerous attempts to inquire about the issues after they finished their work, the production house has not given them any response and has kept them hanging. The source was quoted saying that they promoted the film for the sole reason of not leaving it hanging, but even after that, they didn’t receive their payments.
Vashu Bhagnani’s Reaction On The Non-Payment Of Dues
Producer Vashu Bhagnani has been in the industry for more than 3 decades. Earlier, the employees of the production house shared a collaborated post with multiple people highlighting that their payments had not been cleared by their employer. Responding to the crew members concerned about their payment dues, Bhagnani invited them to present contracts or file claims to get a resolution for their payments. The producer also elaborated on an alternative beyond social media complaints by inviting individuals to his office. He ensured that their payments would be cleared by asking everyone to allow him 60 days after document submission to resolve the matter. Vashu also mentioned an upcoming collaboration with a UK firm which suggested payments for all the outstanding salaries.
