Can the topic of divorce become the base to tell a fun and light-hearted story? Well, this was exactly my first thought after watching the trailer of Abigail Pandey and Rishabh Chadha’s upcoming show Divorce Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega. The show is all set to premiere on Zee5 and promises a twisted and fun plot with two cute leads. Here are some more thoughts that came to me while watching the trailer.
1. The Title
The show’s title Divorce Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega is quite intriguing because one might think that it will be a usual story about a couple’s separation. But well, we are wrong!
2. Plot
The show’s plot is quite quirky. It’s about a prime-time host (Abigail Pandey) whose life turns upside down when she meets a fellow journalist (Rishabh Chadha). The two carry out a sting operation to expose the marriage registration scam but in the process, they accidentally get married. Now both of them will do anything to get divorced! Well, the plot has got our attention and looks sweet too!
3. The Lead Pair
Divorce Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega has a fresh pairing and we kinda are already liking the lead couple’s on-screen chemistry. Abigail and Rishab share a very bittersweet bond in the show, and they are never on the same page. We wonder if this pair will fall in love at the end of the show.
4. Thoda Nostalgic!
Remember the cute rom-com shows where the lead couple hated each other only to fall madly for each other? Yeah, this show is giving those vibes too!
