The Summer I Turned Pretty Movie

It seems like neither the fans nor the makers were done with our beautiful trio of Belly, Conrad, and Jeremiah. They have officially announced that, though there would not be a fourth season, a movie is in the works. This would be the final chapter at the Cousins’ beach and the gang. Though there is no confirmation about the cast yet, hopefully, Lola Tung, Gavin Casalegno and Christopher Btiney will be part of the movie. The film will be written by the OG Jenny Han, who also wrote the books that the show was based on.

The exact plot and the details about The Summer I Turned Pretty movie are still under wraps. The announcement was made at the series’s finale red carpet celebration in Paris, France. Speaking about the same, Jenny said, “There is another big milestone left in Belly’s journey, and I thought only a movie could give it its proper due.” The anticipation for the last episode grew as Jenny Hal continued to release one episode per week, making TSITP more concerned about the impending episode. The final episode brings the series to a conclusion.
