Another exciting news is making India proud today. As announced, the Indian adaptation of The Night Manager got its first nomination at the International Emmys 2024. The announcement comes ahead of the grand awards, that will take place in New York, hosted by Vir Das. Reacting to the news, the lead cast of the show including Anil Kapoor, Sobhita Dhulipala and Aditya Roy Kapur, expressed excitement about the same, in an exclusive chat with Hauterrfly.

Actor Aditya Roy Kapur,  who plays the role of Shaan Sengupta AKA The Night Manager mentioned– “An Emmy Nomination for my first series.. wow! From day one, we knew that we were creating something special with The Night Manager but for it to receive so much love and recognition across the country, and the world was not something any of us had imagined. This is such a big moment for us all! Sandeep, Anil Sir, Sobhita, Tilotamma, the Disney+Hotstar team and to every member of our cast and crew – this one’s for all the hard work and effort that everyone’s put in.”

Sobhita Dhulipala, who essays the spectacular role of Kaveri also expressed her excitement and mentioned– “This is such fantastic news! I’m so happy for the directors Sandëép Modi and Priyanka Ghose as well as our phenomenal technical crew. This is very very motivating and moving. Big shout out to Anil Sir, Aditya, Tillotama and the rest of the cast for this exciting moment and shared joy! Well, this is exciting. Directed by Sandeep Modi and Priyanka Ghose, is adapted from both — John le Carré’s novel and the British show, starring Tom Hiddleston, Hugh Laurie and Olivia Colman.
