Reportedly, the viral video is from a rally in Kanyakumari. In this video, Thalapathy Vijay, head of the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, was seen cycling on the road, and he was surrounded by many people. A fan from the crowd threw some flowers at him, and the actor-politician quickly left the cycle and hurried to his van, which was following. Many of the security guards and other people immediately took action to get the actor to the car. As per a Matrubhumi English report, the situation saw a quick escalation in the actor’s security. As per the report, the ball that released flowers was a gesture of admiration and welcome rather than a threat.
After the video surfaced on social media, it received many reactions. Many Twitter users opined that it was a genuine act of love from the fans and followers, and not a threat.
