What Exactly Happened?
It all started when the Thai actor’s comments during a past livestream spread like wildfire online. Two videos caused havoc and in one of them, he tried to describe the Omegaverse idea to a friend. He called it similar to how dogs connect and get stuck during mating. In the second viral video, Oatpasakorn calls the Omegaverse a dream world invented by young women. He used the term for women who love boys’ love stories in a way that came off as belittling. Following which, many fans expressed their anger over his remarks. They said he was being “homophobic” and making fun of women who are BL fans.

Not long after, the Thai actor shared a note online to say he was sorry. He admitted that he lacked care and went too far with jokes. Pasakorn Sanrattana realised his choice of words hurt feelings and promised to think twice before speaking next time. Lastly, the actor said that he felt bad and vowed to grow from the mistake. However, many people didn’t buy it and the heated discussions are still going on.
